Journal Publishing Agreement
Once an article is accepted, the author must complete a publishing agreement (copyright) online. The authors shall retain the intellectual property and copyright of their scientific contributions. In exchange for publication in the journal, the authors give the journal exclusive licensing rights for the first publication of their contributions, which can be disseminated collectively with other articles or in all media formats. The authors should know about the journal’s open-access publishing policy.
This material is protected by copyright and cannot be reproduced or used in any form without the written permission of the owner. However, consent may be optional if you provide a complete reference to the source. All rights are reserved.
Copyright and Ownership:
Before publishing an article, the Authors must obtain written permission from the publisher if significant changes have been made. The content must be authentic, except quotes from copyrighted materials approved by the copyright holder and author. It must not contain slanderous remarks and should not infringe on any patent, copyright, trademark, legal or proprietary rights of any individuals or entities. The Corresponding Author is responsible for signing and accepting responsibility for releasing the material on behalf of all co-authors.
- Use of Rights: The article provides ownership rights, in addition to copyrights, for various things such as employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding rights. When using tables and figures in future works, it’s vital to give proper credit to the publisher as the copyright owner of the article. Making copies of the article for personal use is allowed, but selling them is prohibited.
- Misconduct/ Plagiarism and Unethical Publication: When submitting articles to the journal, authors must ensure that their work is free of plagiarism. All submissions undergo a plagiarism check. In case plagiarism is detected in a published article, it is the responsibility of the authors to apologise to the original authors. Plagiarised articles will be rejected automatically, and authors will be embargoed from publishing in the journal for 03 years. Notification will be given to authors in such cases.
- Competing Interest: Authors must disclose any affiliations that could affect their work, such as employment, grants, or stock ownership. They should state any concerns about competing interests when submitting articles. In this case, the authors have no financial or personal ties that could have impacted their research.
-
Submission Declaration: Authors ensure that submitting articles must be ethically original and not be submitted anywhere in any form for any purpose. Additionally, authors must provide appropriate consent and authority details where data/ material is located. After acceptance of the article for publication, without the copyright holder’s permission, it should not be published anywhere in any form of language or version.
- Authorship: The corresponding author must verify the order of authors in the article. Any changes to the authorship list, such as adding, deleting, or rearranging, must be made before the article is accepted and with the approval of the journal editor. The corresponding author should provide a valid reason and consent for any changes. When it comes to adding or removing authors, getting confirmation from the author concerned who is either being added or removed is necessary. After accepting the article in exceptional circumstances, the editor will only consider changes to the authorship list. While the article is being reviewed, it will not be published. Any approved changes will be noted in a corrigendum if the article has been published online.
- Correction, Retraction, and Republication: A correction notice will be issued to ensure its integrity if an error is found in the article. The Crossmark button will show any updates made to the content, including corrections or retractions. Retraction notices may be issued for unresolved serious issues.
- Article Processing Charge (APC): Authors must pay a fixed APC to publish their articles in the journal to retain copyright. The journal is open-access and can be accessed online for free without subscription fees. The APC cannot be refunded under the following circumstances if (a) if the article has a copyright signed by the author (digital or scanned), (b) if the article is terminated according to the removal policy of the journal, and (c) if the article is withdrawn.
- Indexing and Abstracting: Adding an article citation in the particular database will be performed by the database team only (e.g., an article citation in the Scopus database is processed by the Scopus team only). Neither the journal nor the publisher is involved in accepting or rejecting an article in/from the database. The journal/ publisher also does not influence the article’s processing time for citation in that database.
- Dispute: In case of any dispute or violence, it will only be considered and discussed by the Judiciary of Bhopal, located in Madhya Pradesh, India.
Rights Granted to Publisher and Author:
To circulate and share research articles, the publishing rights will be determined through a publishing agreement established between the authors and Lattice Science Publication (LSP). This agreement ensures that Lattice Science Publication (LSP) has the right to transfer or license the copyright of published articles while authors retain their rights to use and distribute their work. Lattice Science Publication (LSP) firmly believes in empowering authors to freely share, distribute, and enhance the reach of their research. Without fail, we adhere to an open-access publishing model that upholds this ethos. Lattice Science Publication (LSP) has been granted the following rights for all articles published in proprietary titles:
- Under the open-access policy, the publisher has the sole authority to publish and distribute an article and can also authorise others, including for commercial purposes.
- The author retains the right to distribute the article in any format or medium, allowing its use on the most current technologies, even after publication.
- An author can take legal action against third parties who violate their rights, such as committing plagiarism or infringing on their copyright. This authority enables the author to protect their work and ensure their intellectual property is respected.
Protecting Author Rights:
Lattice Science Publication (LSP) values the protection of authors’ written work and reputation through copyright. If you encounter any instances of ethical disputes, fraud, plagiarism, or infringement, please know that we take these matters very seriously. Kindly report them to our in-house legal department. It is essential to note that some open-access licenses permit broad re-use, which may not be deemed as copyright infringement. If you need permission to use an article, please get in touch with the chief editor.
